Monica Milton discovered her love for art as a child, spending countless hours drawing cartoons and portraits. Though her career path led her to the legal profession to pursue her passion for helping others, her creative spirit remained alive. In 2013, she rekindled her artistic journey through drawing and, by 2016, had taught herself to paint.

As Monica immersed herself in the local art community, she began showcasing her work at lounges and restaurants, gaining recognition for her unique style. Her talent earned her invitations to prestigious exhibitions, including the 39th Street Gallery Black History Month exhibit at the Gateway Arts Center in 2020, the "Reveal" exhibit at Epic Yoga in Washington, D.C., in 2021, and her first solo exhibition at the Publick Playhouse in Cheverly, MD, in 2022.

In 2023, Monica’s work continued to shine, being featured in The 3rd in Columbia, MD, the SheDC art exhibition at La Cosecha, and the Create Arts Center in Silver Spring, MD.
